Year 3 join the library

Today Year 3 went to Heywood library to take part in a range of activities and join the library. Year 3 explore shadows

Today Year 3 have been learning all about shadows. We explored how to create a shadow and also how to increase and decrease the size of shadow by the position of the torch. We then used this knowledge to create our own shadow puppet theatres. Well done Year 3.

Jubilee celebrations in Year 3

Year 3&4 Mixed Dodgeball

Today we entered the Heywood schools Year 3&4 Mixed Dodgeball competition at Heywood Sports Village against 4 other local primary schools. This was a first competition for most of our players and they did an amazing job, some fantastic efforts. Well done Year 3&4.
