Today we entered the Year 5&6 Heywood Schools Swimming Gala at Heywood Sports Village. This was a first competition for some of our children, the standard were very high and our children did amazing finishing in 4th place. Well done to our all of our Year 5&6 Swimming Team.

We recently entered the Heywood Schools Year 5&6 Rounder’s tournament at Newhouse Academy. All the children tried their best and had lots of fun, there was some great teamwork shown. We had a mixture of results, well done Year 5&6.
Last week KS2 were introduced to Ultimate Frisbee with a taster session from Sports Cool Bury. All the children really enjoyed their session and learning some new skills.
Before half term Year 5&6 took part in a friendly rounders and dodgeball tournament during their PE lesson, practising all the skills and rules they have learnt about rounders and dodgeball over the past few weeks.
