Well this half term has been a busy one in our DT lessons. It all began back in October when we looked  at existing cushions and their uses. We then  explored a range of different sewing stitches and ways of joining fabrics before planning our own cushion designs and finally making them. The children have worked so hard on these and I think they have done a brilliant job. Well done Year 3

Here they are practicing their stitching.

When we were confident, we could start making our cushion. This involved making templates, measuring, pinning and sewing.

After lots of hard work, here are the finished cushions – just in time for Christmas. Amazing!
