In Science this term, Year 4 are learning all about electricity.

In today’s lesson, they were given images of 9 different circuits. Using the equipment, they had to recreate the circuit and discover whether it would light the bulb.

Some of the circuits were more difficult than others, but Mrs Wallsworth was very impressed with how well they all worked together in pairs and the discussion that this task generated.

Science was sooo fun, I really enjoyed it mostly because you got to create your very own circuit at the end and it was fun seeing if the light bulbs would light. It was also a challenge because some of the pictures weren’t clear to see what to plug into what, so it was fun and challenging at the same time.

PS: I can’t wait for the next science lesson!

I really enjoyed science today. It was very fun experimenting whether or not the electricity would flow through the circuits. If the components of the circuit were all in the correct position then the tiny light-bulb would light up, if the components were in the incorrect position however the light-bulb would not light.
