In Art this term, Year 5 are studying the work of Henri Rousseau.
In Tuesday’s lesson, the pupils began to create their own interpretation of Henri Rousseau’s ‘Tiger in a Tropical Storm’.
To begin with each pupil was given an image of a tiger and then they began to sketch out where the foliage and trees would be in their interpretation.
Next, pupils have begun to paint their masterpieces!
Once the painting has been completed next week, they will then stick on the tiger.
We will be sure to post their final pieces once complete!

Left the school now, but so glad to see the year 5s doing things I remember doing!
