Book title: The Boy in the Dress
Author: David Walliams
Star Rating (1-didn’t enjoy – 5 Loved it!): 5 stars (loved it)
My Review: This is another book by David Walliams that is great to read, funny and positive. It is about a young boy who goes to secondary school who has lost his mum and lives with his dad and big brother. Dennis is the main character and likes football and clothes magazines. He meets a new friend who likes to make clothes and he dresses up in a dress to pretend to be a girl. He enjoys this and finds fun in it, like playing football but different. At first people don’t get it but it ends well.

Foul play
By:
Tom Palmer.
Foul play is about an agent called danny going on different missions.
Rating: [opinion] for me this book is a 7/10 it is above 5 because I think it has a perfect story split into different sections
Age: for me the age for this book should be about 5 or over because it contains mild violence like guns and smoking So this book is more for an older age group
Pages: this book is 176 pages long and might take a long time to read for some people

Book Review: Matthew Buzzington.
Matthew buzzington is about a boy aged 10 years old and he was always trying to turn into a fly, until one day he had to move to the big city, that’s when he went to his new school, he met a boy named Pineapple Johnson, Pineapple Johnson was bully, no one tried to be friends with him, he also made matthew show that he can turn into a fly.Later on in the story matthew and johnson are supposed to go to the principal’s office because pineapple johnson had bullied matthew. They went to the principal’s office at the end of the day but the teacher wasn’t there. They waited for hours and hours, but the teacher didn’t show up, Amanda had shown up and the teacher had gone home and they were locked in the school. Robbers had tried to rob the school thinking nobody was there. They locked johnson, matthew and amanda in the gym, matthew finally turned into a fly and him and pineapple johnson tried to get the robbers but they failed, amanda turned into an elephant and they got the robbers and they called the police the robbers went to prison and johnson and matthew became best friends (turns out pineapple johnson was just afraid to be lonely and that’s why he was a bully.)

The Tulip Touch
The Tulip Touch is about a girl called Natalie who lives in a hotel called The Palace. When she starts at the new school, she meets a girl called Tulip, who she immediately becomes friends with. The two play games around The Palace, but the games slowly become more and more twisted, including ‘Exploding Greenhouse’ and ‘Dustbin Fire’. Eventually, Tulip turns evil and burns down first an old shed, then The Palace, the place where Natalie lives. Natalie has to move away, leaving Tulip behind. But she never forgets Tulip, not until the day she dies. It’s an amazing story, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes mystery stories.

Book review : Clockwork Philip Pullman
I like this book because there is this girl who lives in this home. who lives in a little German town. There was an event that happened every year and the clock at the house was changed once a year by a professor clocksworth and it all went wrong because he did not have enough time to finish it. So by the new start of the year there was nothing to be seen ! So I would recommend this book if you like problems.
