Today we have enjoyed a walk around our local area to help us develop knowledge for our topic ‘Houses and Homes’. The children enjoyed recognising familiar shops, streets and even some of their houses!
We focused on developing knowledge about different types of houses such as terrace, detached, semi-detached, bungalow, caravan and cottages.

On Wednesday we had Sports Cool Bury come into school to give the children in reception and KS1 a taster session in Tri-golf. The children really enjoyed their session and learning new skills.

Kian didn’t even tell me about this! I asked him what he did at school today and he didn’t even mention it. Looks like everyone had a great time on their walk
