This half term our design technology work is based around food and eating seasonally. Today we started off by thinking about climate zones and what food we can successfully grow in the Uk and what needs importing. The children found it amazing by looking at maps at just how far some of our fruit has to travel to get to us. We then focussed on some fruits grown in Asia and we followed a recipe to make a japanese fruit skewer with plum sauce.
