This afternoon, Year 4 were on the hunt to see what invertebrates they could find in our local environment. The children had lots of fun exploring the woodland area, finding different invertebrates and logging all that they observed about each creature they found. We were lucky enough to be able to carefully bring some of the invertebrates back into the classroom for further inspection, before releasing them back into their natural habitat. Some of these included woodlice, spiders, slugs and beetles. Well done Year 4 for your kind and gentle actions when handling the small invertebrates!
