In Reception this week we have been using our Mighty Writer mat to create our own story. We worked together in groups and used our imagination to create a story with a beginning, a middle and an end. Our stories had lots of interesting characters in them, which visited lots of different exciting places. We even remembered to use describing words and finish our sentence with a full stop! We then enjoyed reading our stories out to the class at the end.

On Wednesday we had Sports Cool Bury come into school to give the children in reception and KS1 a taster session in Tri-golf. The children really enjoyed their session and learning new skills.
In DT, we have been learning about fruit and vegetables and we have designed our own smoothies. Today the children prepared the fruit and vegetables, developing new skills and then made smoothies.
