To celebrate the wonderful work that Year 1 have been doing this term on pirates, we had a pirate day as a celebration!
The children have enjoyed making their own maps, going to hunt for treasure, having a pirate snack and many more fun activities. They even had to ‘WALK THE PLANK’ when they were out of the pirate games.

On Wednesday we had Sports Cool Bury come into school to give the children in reception and KS1 a taster session in Tri-golf. The children really enjoyed their session and learning new skills.
In DT, we have been learning about fruit and vegetables and we have designed our own smoothies. Today the children prepared the fruit and vegetables, developing new skills and then made smoothies.
