Year 2 enjoyed their Christmas party on Monday. We enjoyed party games and party food.. On Thursday we had a lovely Christmas assembly where the choir sung and a few children read out their Christmas letter or poem. Finally on Friday we enjoyed our special Christmas lunch! Merry Christmas everyone!

Year 1 and 2 have enjoyed getting back into gymnastics this week, we practised balancing and coordinating our bodies.. Year 1 focused on performing controlled spins both on the floor and on apparatus whilst Year 2 focused on travelling in curled positions. The children had a lovely afternoon, exploring their new classroom and getting to know their new teachers. The children enjoyed working in the different areas of continuous provision, especially the construction area where they created some amazing models and the writing area where they wrote some super sentences!
