Today in our place value work we have been exploring what happens to different digits when we add or subtract a ten, one or a hundred. Crossing over a boundary is still a bit tricky but the children have made great progress against this objective. Well done Year 3.
Today our lesson involved investigating how we can group rocks. We explored things such as density, permeability, hardness and erosion in rocks such as Granite, Sandstone, Slate, Limestone, Marble and Basalt. Some great observations Year 3, well done.
This term in PE one of our sports is cricket and we have been lucky enough to receive some coaching. Today was our first lesson and we focussed on holding the bat correctly, footwork and hitting with accuracy. The children thoroughly enjoyed the lesson.
