Year 3 explore shadows

Today Year 3 have been learning all about shadows. We explored how to create a shadow and also how to increase and decrease the size of shadow by the position of the torch. We then used this knowledge to create our own shadow puppet theatres. Well done Year 3.

Jubilee celebrations in Year 3

Year 3 build reading dens

Year 3 Book tasting

Today in Year 3 we held a book tasting event. The children worked around a range of tables, each with different genres on and explored the range of books. They really enjoyed looking at and reading the different styles of texts.
