Over the last week Reception have worked to produce individual masks with support from Laura at Cartwheel Arts. As part of their learning in Power Maths, Reception have been exploring pattern. They have enjoyed creating their own patterns using a range of resources and explaining to each other which part is being repeated.

The children have been enjoying lots of Easter crafts and activities; they have made chicks, Easter cards, chocolate nests and sequenced the story of Easter. Many children even won an Easter egg at our phonic and tricky word bingo!

As our story this week has been the traditional tale ‘The Gingerbread Man’, the reception children made and decorated their very own red nosed cookies. They were very relieved that none of them jumped up and ran out of the kitchen!!
We are so pleased to have our bubble back together again. All the Reception children have enjoyed their first morning back in school!
