As part of this week’s Book Week, Year 6 used various texts to explore the theme of ‘Refugees’. The children discussed the current situation in the Ukraine, then used both their Bookflix picture book ‘The Arrival’ and the famous poem ‘Refugees’ to create their own reverse poems. All of the children produced such thoughtful and insightful poems!
