Today we had a visit from Rachel who came into school to complete some activities around our PSHE work. The children follow a scheme of work called SCARF which stands for Safety, Caring, Achievement, Resilience and Friendship.
The children began by looking at how to care for their bodies physically but also how they can care for their mental wellbeing and their mind. We discussed things that can be helpful or harmful to our bodies and mind before completing some mini brain gym exercises. The children then met Harold the giraffe who needed help sorting out some friendship issues. The children offered him some great advice.
