This week the children in Reception have been celebrating Valentine’s Day! We have written Valentine’s Day cards with a special message inside for our loved ones at home. We also cut out our handprints to send home for Valentine’s Day and made playdough love hearts. We have learned about the story of St. Valentine and why we celebrate Valentine’s Day.

On Wednesday we had Sports Cool Bury come into school to give the children in reception and KS1 a taster session in Tri-golf. The children really enjoyed their session and learning new skills.
In DT, we have been learning about fruit and vegetables and we have designed our own smoothies. Today the children prepared the fruit and vegetables, developing new skills and then made smoothies.
