This week in Reception we have been Celebrating Chinese New Year. We have been discussing Chinese New Year and its significance as a class, taking part in lots of Chinese New Year activities! We have made our own Chinese lanterns, taste tested Chinese food and heard lots of Chinese New Year stories.

On Wednesday we had Sports Cool Bury come into school to give the children in reception and KS1 a taster session in Tri-golf. The children really enjoyed their session and learning new skills.
In DT, we have been learning about fruit and vegetables and we have designed our own smoothies. Today the children prepared the fruit and vegetables, developing new skills and then made smoothies.
