This term we are exploring the beliefs, celebrations and traditions from a Jewish person’s point of view. We are then relating these morals and ideas to our everyday life. We have been encouraging the children to voice their opinions which has been lovely!
We looked at some items that could be worn or found in a synagogue…
Miss Forbes has a Jewish friend so Year 2 were lucky enough to sample some traditional Jewish bread that can be enjoyed in the weekly Shabbat celebration. We all loved the ‘Challah’ bread!
