Year 2 visit to church!

To support our RE curriculum, Year 2 had the pleasure of visiting the church in our local area today. The children were very sensible on the walk down and it was a lovely day to get out of the classroom! We enjoyed sitting in the sun and listening to the church bells…

Once we were in the church we sat on the pews and listened to Reverend Sally tell us all about the celebrations and festivals Christians are a part of. She then let us explore the church and ask lots of questions! What a wonderful afternoon we have had at St. George’s church!
